Tac Aide is a class set up to teach you what to do before the first responders arrive. It doesn’t matter if you are involved in an active shooter event or some other mass casualty event, EMS won’t be entering the scene until it’s been cleared. You could be the one providing care until they are on scene. Knowing what to do and what not to do will save lives.

We will be covering everything from applying a tourniquet to stopping the bleeding, managing respiratory care, head injuries, shock and much, much more.

Our instructor has been there, done that and saved lives. He will give you the best and most recent information to prepare you for this type of encounter. Jason works as a flight nurse for Vanderbilt and does this stuff in the real world, day in and day out.

Fixing ourselves and others in an emergency is something we can expect to encounter in our lives. From recognizing shock to dealing with massive hemorrhage, airway assessment, and much more.

– 1 full day of training

– dress as you normally do day in and day out

– bring any snacks and drink you think you may want
